Product Photos That Sell
You do not need a camera. A phone and daylight are enough.
Simple rules
- Use daylight. Stand near a window. Do not use flash.
- Keep the background plain. A white sheet, a clean table or a wooden board works well.
- Hold the phone steady and clean the camera lens.
- Show the real product. Customers should get exactly what they see.
Photos to take for each product
- One main photo of the whole product.
- One close-up that shows detail or texture.
- One photo of the pack or label.
- One photo that shows size, for example next to your hand.
Avoid
- Dark or blurry photos.
- Photos copied from the internet.
- Text, logos or watermarks from other websites.
